The soft launch of Hashashin
which happened on the 3rd of March 2018 was a very private, intriguingly interesting, and ultimately revealing event - 03.03.1933 was my father's birthday. He would have been eighty-five years old.
In this thriller, I have borrowed from my father's past - assigning his real-life adventures in Morocco after he deserted the French Foreign Legion - to the father of my leading character.
In order to get close to the family of his recently murdered wife, Thomas poses as a writer researching his father's time in Agadir, Morocco. Once he uncovers the real reason for her death, he embarks on a journey of revenge, redemption, and forgiveness. In the end of this story, he realizes the truth; a truth we all will face at one point or another.
